Hand embroidered using single strands of DMC embroidery thread on Kona quilting cotton and framed in a No 1 Nurge embroidery hoop. This piece was inspired by a satellite image of Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Australia at the coordinates -15.30, 145.53.
Embroidery size approximately 4 inches in diameter
Framed size approximately 8 x 8 x 1 inches
Complementary mounting in a white shadow box frame. Artwork can be displayed hung on the wall or freestanding
